The Remington LumaSmooth is effective on skin types equivalent to the Fitzpatrick scale
1 – 4.
It will be less effective on type 5 as darker skin absorbs energy from the light, meaning the hair follicle is unable to absorb enough of the energy.
LumaSmooth should not be used on skin
type 6.

IVORY
Very sun sensitive, burns easily,

Minimally sun sensitive, burns
minimally, tans to moderate brown.
MEDIUM BROWN
Sun insensitive, rarely burns,
tans well.
DARK BROWN/BLACK
Sun insensitive, never burns,
deeply pigmented.
